Based on the long-standing cooperation with the Gemeinschaft für Qualitätsüberwachung von Polymerbitumen- und Bitumenbahnen e.V. (GPB/ Frankfurt), HFB‘ s lab offers a comprehensive range of services to manufacturers of polymer bitumen and bituminous sheeting.
- Performance of tests within the scope of quality inspection of the production of polymer bitumen and bituminous sheeting according to the quality criteria of the Gemeinschaft für Qualitätsüberwachung von Polymerbitumen- und Bitumenbahnen e.V. (Association for Quality Monitoring of Polymer Bitumen and Bituminous Sheeting, GPB).

- Determination of dimensional accuracy according to DIN EN 1107-1,
- Determination of cold bending behaviour according to DIN EN 1109,
- Determination of flow resistance at elevated temperature according to DIN EN 1110,
- Procedure for artificial ageing under continuous stress due to increased temperature according to DIN EN 1296,
- Determination of water vapour permeability and water vapour diffusion resistance number μ according to DIN EN 1931,
- Determination of the tensile elongation behaviour according to DIN EN 12311-1,
- Determination of the minimum soluble content according to DIN 52123
