By decision of the National Accreditation body of Germany (DAkkS) from November 11th, 2017, the accreditation of HFB Engineering GmbH as a Certification body (Accreditation No. D-ZE-18661-01) has been extended.
This extended accreditation confirms that HFB Engineering GmbH has the competence according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065:2013, to now also – besides the unchanged standing accreditations – realize certifications for the following construction product group:
Fasteners for construction timber products for load-bearing applications/for load-bearing timber structures according to ETAG 015: Guideline for European technical approval of three-dimensional nailing-plates (AVPC System 1)
The corresponding notification of our certification body by the German Institute for Structural Engineering (DIBt) within the scope of Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 for determining harmonized conditions for the marketing of construction products (BauPVO) will take place shortly.
Simultaneously, the certification body of HFB Engineering GmbH has been confirmed to have flexible accreditation (degree of freedom 1). Thus, the certification body is allowed to apply new revisions of the product standards in the accredited field without the prior approval of the DAkkS.
