By decision of the National Accreditation body of Germany (DAkkS) from November 11th, 2017, the accreditation of HFB Engineering GmbH as a Testing Laboratory (Accreditation No. D-PL-18661-01) has been extended.
This extended accreditation confirms that HFB Engineering GmbH has the competence according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005, to now also – besides the unchanged standing accreditations – realize tests for the following construction product group:
- Fibre-cement flat sheets according to DIN EN 12467 (AVCP- System 3) as well as
- Glass in building – Insulating glass units according to EN 1279-5 (AVCP- System 3).
The corresponding notification of our testing laboratory by the German Institute for Structural Engineering (DIBt) within the scope of Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 for determining harmonized conditions for the marketing of construction products (BauPVO) will take place shortly.
Simultaneously, the testing laboratory of HFB Engineering GmbH has been confirmed to have flexible accreditation (category III). Thus, the testing laboratory is allowed to apply new revisions of the product standards in the accredited field without the prior approval of the DAkkS.
